The Week - 12/8/14

Thanks to some wonderful people in Many who sent these pictures to us of our missionary.

Elder Sabey and Elder Lehr with the bishop of the Many Ward

The Many Ward missionaries

This week was pretty darn good.

Investigators: Trent said he needed more time before he gets baptized so we are giving it to him. It was really cool on Sunday when he texted us saying he needed a ride. So he came! And also Sean one of the less actives came again so that was awesome. Brelin didn't come to church this Sunday but he has come a bunch and should be baptized this Saturday. Awesome goods. We don't really have many other progressing investigators. But we will.

Christmas Activity: Last night we had a ward activity to prepare for the Christmas Devotional and we had at least 6 non-members come and quite a few less actives. It was a wonderful activity. The members here did a great job reaching out to their friends.

Zone meeting: Since Alexandria is about 2 hours away from Many we went the night before to go have a sleep over with the zone leaders. We knew it was going to be pretty jam packed so Elder Sabey and I got our mattresses and threw them in the back of our truck. So worth it. Oh and I love having a truck. After Zone meeting we had interviews with the President and that went really well. I like President Hansen. It was kinda cool how he said that he was discussing with the area seventy and he promised us that if we saw each of our investigators 3 times a week and worked with members to do it we would triple our baptisms. So I just gotta do it. Oh and we have Specialized training next Friday and I am going to be playing the saxophone for it. I am excited!

Restaurant: Greg the guy who is opening that restaurant is pretty much done and we got to sample some of the recipes. Like Chicken Fried Steak, Fried Chicken, Italian Nachos, Chimichanga. It was pretty awesome.

It's been a great week with lots of miracles and I'm enjoying it.

Love Elder Lehr
